In August, the Merton CLOJ volunteers cycled  from London to Paris  to raise money for Christmas Lunch on Jesus, a programme adopted locally to provide Christmas food hampers for deprived families in the London Borough of Merton at Christmas.

Their efforts and sore muscles paid off, raising over £7,000 for their four-day effort. Many people on the nine-person team will also be a part of the volunteer force that will distribute hampers. This is just one way that countless individuals are working together to meet the needs of people and show God’s love in practical ways to those who need it most.

We would like to apologise to the public that we are no longer taking referrals for hampers this year.
